- I must admit; I have no political interests and really never have. I would have to say that I am an Independent. Both political parties interest me in diferent ways and I can't seem to be pursuaded one way or the other. The ideology quiz however state that I am an upbeat. Can't agree much with that because I am classified to be economically distressed to the fullest potential. Whereby most upbeats are financially comfortable. Just one diagreement I really wanted to put out there. Yes I voted ths year partically due to the idea that I should follow the beliefs of my family. I am taking this class because it is a course requirement for my degree plan. However, once I took the civics and current events quiz,I realized "I wasn't smarter than a fifth grader" and needed the knowledge. I hope to gain great political knowledge from this course, blogger's, and my classmates. Shawnta Anderson
